I have just seen your post Brian...thank you for adding it.I too have a memory of John's woodworking ability.He tried to make a wooden dog bed...took weeks....ended up on the fire.His bricklaying was just as bad....the BBQ ended in a pile of bricks.He was good at wallpapering...after the first trial at papering a ceiling and the paper falling off he got it right.
